Circular economy in action: Germany and Austria implement device repair incentives
As technology becomes smaller, thinner, more complex, it’s also become more disposable. The “right to repair” allows third parties to repair devices when they fail, but it can be pricey. Cities in Austria and Germany have now introduced bonus schemes that can reimburse up to 50% of the repair.
